moments in brief

It seems I've been snapping tons of random pics lately so here are a few I couldn't help but share. :) (Btw, my apologies to those who have been reading the same posts for the past couple of weeks.)


She loves using random objects as "walkers." Here she is discovering that the chair can not only be used to help with walking but also as a peekaboo prop!




Maria is very proud to use a big girl fork (although I really need to invest in the plastic kid version rather than the metal adult version!). It's amazing how much mac and cheese she will consume when given the added bonus of using a fork!




She loves to toddle around the yard throwing the ball, picking it up... repeat. I think she is just adorable holding this huge ball!




This is one of my new favorites. :)




Here's a proud Mommy moment: I managed to keep an orchid alive and blooming!!! I absolutely love orchids but have had little luck with them. Maria received this one from Nana and Pa when she was born, so I thought it'd be neat to take a pic of her with it each year. (Provided I can continue to keep it alive.)
