We're all Jack Johnson fans around here. Maria included. She can actually distinguish the difference b/w several of his albums and tell you whether that's her 'night night Jack Johnson' or her 'Curious George Jack Johnson'! With his Banana Pancakes song stuck in my head, I whipped up an experimental batch last Saturday morning. Not too bad.

The best part? They were heart shaped!!!! Real hearts... not my feeble attempt at hearts! Thanks to NanaPa for finding us this little kitchen contraption! They were quite a hit with the wee one.

Um... however, I do have to admit that after a few rounds with the fun new kitchen contraption... making those tiny heart pancakes grew a bit tedious! Plan ol' fashioned circle pancakes followed for Mama and Dada!
