virginia beach!!!

Sorry for the lapse in posts, but a trip to Louisiana and a temporarily missing camera are to blame!

Here's a quick post with lots of picture fun... Our first trip to the beach this year!! Wahoo!!! I'm happy to be headed out of Virginia in a few days, but grateful that we managed to swing a trip to Virginia Beach. I haven't spent much time on the Atlantic, so it was a fun new beach experience! It was a crowded hoppin' little beach town, already very much alive despite the FRIGID (and I mean painfully so) waters. However, the sun was warm, the sand was hot, and the beach breeze was perfect! One happy Mama for sure!!! :-)

We also visited the local aquarium, which made our little reptile/animal/all creature lover very very happy! :-)

As you can imagine, the section where she was allowed to touch all the little sea critters was definitely her favorite. It even called for a repeat visit!

hot sand and freezing waters did not make for quite the happiest of 3 year olds...

but it didn't take long for her to come around to the notion of fun in the sand!
