family vacation, take 2

take 2 of family vacation :: a cabin in the woods (luxury camping ;D) bliss. pure bliss. It was the absolute most perfect little get-a-way spot for our nature/animal-loving-selves.

Our days went something like this ::

sweet sister snuggles

feed and brush the local livestock

take a walk in the woods

play on our own little personal vintage playground

relax in the hammock

Our evenings went something like this::

ignore the local burn ban (an honest oops) and grill hotdogs

and coo over smiley peely Camillie:-)

set off on an adventure to find lighting bugs and/or collect wildflowers (no lightening bugs to be found, maybe next time)

roast marshmellows (there's that burn ban again! ek!) eating smores is serious business ;-)

play dominoes (or some made-up-Maria version) by candlelight

read lots of bedtime stories

sigh... adult time :-), by candlelight

get beat in poker by the hubby (as always)
