The time has finally come to say goodbye...or "au revoir", goodbye for now. It is completely unfathomable to wrap one's mind around being seperated for 15 months...it definitely hasn't sunk in yet. By the grace of God and the love of family and friends and each other we will make it one day at a time. It was all I could do to hold it together today as Maria stood in her room patting the 8X10 pic of "Dada" on the wall, then turned and waved at her little statue of Mary, then back at Dada. I felt like she was saying, "See, Mama Mary is watching over him so don't be sad or worried."
