I realize I seldom post pics...so I'm working on getting better at it since they are easier to view. Last night 7-10 Cavalry celebrated their final Hail and Farewell before the guys deploy. (It's a big get together with food and such where new officers, new babies, new marriages are welcomed/celebrated and those departing are "farewelled".) We had a fabulous time out at the Newton's "oh so amazing" ranch...which both Jon-David and I agreed would be our dream house/outdoor set up. The best part was that Maria made a friend! Molly, a friend of mine's daughter, has always loved Maria...and last night Maria loved Molly! We were able to enjoy ourselves and eat in peace as Maria "palled" around with Molly. She doesn't go with just anyone so it was quite a treat. (We decided it might perhaps be b/c of our equally short statures and granola natures! ;) )
