happy birthday charlee and uncle mike!

Happy Birthday to our special little cousin, Charlee!! We love you so much little girl! This past weekend we had a total blast celebrating Charlee's 2nd birthday. She sure knows how to throw a good party! ;) (Good job Nonk B and Aunt Julie!) We had a great time swimming, playing with all the wee ones, eating lots of cake/cookies/snowcones... and even some fruits and veggies ;), playing with the resident dog, Apollo... just all being together.

I also must say a personal thank you to little Charlee for being our number one fan. She deserves it! :D I am sure there are days when her poor mommy grows weary of hearing "Ria, Ria, Ria! Watch Ria!"...and days when she tires of clicking the mouse 400 times to watch my little 20 second clips of Maria doing silly day-to-day things. We love knowing that Charlee enjoys our blog so much. But mostly it brings joy to my heart to watch these two little girls be so excited over each other. I hope they can one day share the same long time friendship that their mommies share! :)

And the day wouldn't be complete without a special birthday wish to crazy Uncle Mike! Mike is the hubby's best friend/battle buddy from college, who M and I have grown to totally love. :) We recently got to spend some time with him while he was home on leave from Iraq. Here's Maria giving his new Harley a good "test run". ;) Oh boy are we in trouble! :D Love you, Mike!
