marc broussard & rhythms on the river!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! We headed to Louisiana specifically to make it in time to hear Marc Broussard play at Rhythms on the River... and boy was I glad we did! We had so much fun hanging out with the Myhand/Noel clan - having a little picnic, listening to good music, (and peeing in the parking lot ;) ).

I can't tell you all the bribery and funny faces we made in our attempt to capture a smiling pic of these two buds with their suckers... this is as good as it got!

My sweet little mothering toddler was quite taken with the new Miss Elizabeth Grace. She just laid next to her and "sha sha-ed" her until...

she fell asleep! Amidst all the noise (and crazy humidity!) little Elizabeth snoozed away!

And while Andre bee-bopped to the music, clapping his hands, and totally getting into it, Maria...

ignored the music and lazily amused herself (really, for like 30 minutes) by waving her feet in the air.

Finally the clapping catches her attention!

And with lots of encouragement, she caught on to the spirit of the night!
