meet Camille :-)

It's come to my awareness that I've never posted about our newest wee itty bitty!!! So before she makes her real world debut, I thought you should meet her in all her cramped glory!

Back in June, we decided to figure out what all the hype was about finding out if you're having a boy/girl. (We didn't find out with Maria.) It was a fun little experience with Maria pointing out the little baby feet (on the ultrasound screen), and Dada being the one to announce, "I see girl parts!" (He's really quite tactful!) Ever since then, (actually a couple months before that) has been the battle of the name game... well really between just 2 names: Ali (Alexandra) and Camille.

Without further ado, here's our sweet girl (who as Maria says 'will arrive in October when she's finished growing), Camille ::

Maria thinks it's great fun to check on 'her baby' and see if she's moving and growing :-D (And trust me, she's definitely doing both!!!)

And being a bit more settled these days has allowed me lots of fun with putting together a little baby room!! Lots of little finishing touches left... but eventually I'll get to them! lol

While her quilt is in progress, making a pillow seemed like a much more satisfying (um, quick) project. And it now has her name embroidered on it too!

p.s. While Dada and I settled on Camille, Maria was quite partial to Ali... actually Ali Camille was her suggestion. When I explained to her that we were going to go with Camille for the baby name, her response was, "That's aweful!!" Waaaay too funny! However, by the end of that afternoon, she had solved the name dilemma. Her baby sister could be Camille Clare and she would be Ali Camille. No problem. :-) The best part:: While at the store the other day, someone asked her about the baby name and her name... Yep, she said the baby was Camille Clare and she was Ali Camille!!!! Love that girl :-D
