Some people have Christmas in July... Around our little Mohundro abode, we have Mardi Gras in July!! :-)

There's a list of songs on our itunes souly for Maria - her favorites - consisting of some great 80's one hit wonders, a bit of the Sound of Music soundtrack, and some good Cajun zydeco (including Mardi Gras Mambo). For a couple/few weeks in July, every time she heard her Cajun music, she repeatedly requested we make a King Cake. Finally I caved. :-) (I can't say my pregnancy sweet buds minded!)

And while we spent the morning licking sugar and cream cheese and indulging in pure girly silliness....

Dada was upholding the healthy end of the household doing his beloved CrossFit WOD (workout of the day)!! Love that guy!
