happy 3 month birthday, baby lila therese

THREE months!?!?  How has my teeny little newborn grown so much already?!  

As much as I want to hold on to those blissful perfectly fresh newborn weeks, I am hopelessly in love with this cooing, babbling, smiley little 3 month old.

::Three months brings us lots of this "side" view of the world.  You're sooo close to rolling over!  Slow down little one, slow down.

::You love your butterflies and the play mirror in her bed.  I've even found you wide awake in the morning, just laying there chatting with your 'mirror friend'.

::Finally, there is less spit up.  While you're by far my worst spitter-upper, you have magically only peed on me once!  (Camille used to pee on me every time I'd pick her up to put her in the bath!)  

::Your two favorite games are when I take the juke and rub it against your gums or pass it lightly over your nose and chin.

::There has even been a giggle or two heard during games of peek-a-boo!

::You love those big sisters, simply reveling in all of the attention they bestow upon you.  (Don't miss the extra little hand down in the left corner!)  

::You have lots of smiles, but the biggest ones are for those doting girls that hover near you - rescuing lost jukes, singing the 'smile song', reading books, and pushing the swing when the batteries are too drained to make it go.

::And you have joined the ranks of the 'bubble queens' who have gone before you.  It's Camille's favorite new trick of yours... because she loves to pop all those bubbles!

::Somehow,you are even more perfect and more loved than last month.
