a week in the life

...of her little red sparkly shoes.  She loves them.

I'm pretty certain she couldn't live with out them.

We have them in two sizes.  (Thanks, KiKi!) She's the 3rd set of little feet to wear this pair.  And neither her cousin nor her sister came anywhere close to this kind of love... for these sparkly red shoes.

She squishes the buckles back, throws them on whichever foot she pleases (they're a size or so too big), and clops around for the day.

Seriously the whole day.  Even if they give her blisters.

Sometimes they complete a dress-up costume.

Sometimes it's just not worth the battle and she wears them as we run errands or take Ree to school.

If I convince her to take them off for her nap, they're the first thing she seeks out when she wakes.

Sometimes they make it to the potty with her.

Sometimes she potties in them.  Miraculously she allows me to clean and dry them before putting them back on.

Oh yeah, and she generally wears them to bed.

I guess if you're going to wear a pair of shoes with every outfit (to include pjs), it just assume be a pair of sparkly red perfectly perfect little girl shoes.

Hi Jena, I was introduced to your blog through Sarah @ Thyme.
Love the red shoes, wished I would have had some when I was young. Now I wear red suedes from LLBean in Winter because they make me happy. Precious little ones loving a Stroll though the woods and up the limbs of the trees just makes my day. God bless you and your precious family and protect you always.
