one wall at a time

One wall at a time, slowly but surely, Lila's room is coming together.

And I had to chuckle to myself when I realized that, yes, there is yet another post with a sleeping babe!  I mean, really, how many sleeping pics can I post this week?

It can be a bit frustrating to decorate always knowing (but never knowing) you're moving somewhere at some time in the near-ish future.  You finally find the perfect little place for each beloved item, only to have to take it all down (knowing your beloved items will be dinged and nicked along the way).  At the same time, it can be rather fun - new spaces, new ideas, a creative challenge (the good kind).  

I love how everything is falling into place in Lila's sweet room right now.

Don't miss Maria's artwork adorning the wall down there in the left corner.  Makes me smile.  She taped a whole little series of family drawings and 'love' words throughout the room.  We never discussed that I was doing a quasi 'love' focus in Lila's room.  She just picks up on these types of things.  She's a sharp one, I tell ya.
