Here's to Dada/Dragon: ;-)
~the man who will read 15 books in a row without pausing to come up for air
~the man who tells his wee girl-child that it's ok to be afraid of things
~the man who has learned to comb and fix (yes even mastering those tricky pony tail holders) toddler girl hair
~the man who has learned to change diapers, coax a wee babe or toddler to finish eating, and even the "hey look at that..." game, necessary for distraction on road trips!
~the man who has towed my car half way around the country and back... so that we could all ride together and hang out
~the man who yelps with delight 27 times in a row when poked with a stick... for the simple amusement of a giggling child
We love you. We adore you. We couldn't have created a better Dada if we tried. We are exceedingly exceptionally thankful for having more than a year with you, here State-side, with us. We have all learned and grown together side by side through this adventure of being a family... And I wouldn't trade a moment. :-)
p.s. She really wanted a picture with the above "puppy dog"... but that's as close as she'd let J-D get to it!!!
