With all of our moving and settling in, we're a bit late getting our garden off and growing... but it's growing nonetheless! Hooray! Hopefully, it'll actually produce some real vegetables. :-)

Helping Dada mix the sand and dirt in our little planter box. (It took a lot of convincing for him to let me put this in the backyard!)
A proud digger she is! (And don't mind that 'puppy dog tail')
very serious about getting all the dirt
into the pot!
planting seeds (cucumbers, tomato, and basil... small space here peeps)
Apparently I was, um, a bit more excited than M was at this early morning hour! lol

Wahoo!!! Our first 3 little green tomatoes!!!! I'm so afraid they won't turn red, perhaps I'll just pick 'em green and fry 'em up! ;-)

Some critters came and bit Matt's green tomatoes. He plucked them and put them in the window sill to ripen. They're turning a nice shade of red as of today! I hope yours turn out yummy! Sorry about the lack of phone calls this week. Swim lessons took it out of us. I'll try to catch you sometime next week. How's the knitting going???
I totally cheated on my tomatos, jalapenos, and bell peppers with starters, but just the same feeling the excitement for produce in the back yard!! :)
