One day I will catch up on all the missed posts that are stuck in the time warp between lost-camera, moving 1/2 way across the country, and dysfunctional-camera! (one day...) But in the mean time here's a smattering of random pics from our life at Fort Hood!

Getting our hands dirty (or buttery!) We've been doing a lot of baking around here... cranberry scones, homemade biscuits, bread, and here we are at work on lemon squares! yum!

I include this picture for one reason: for the payback I am certain I deserve for the thousands of times I made this face through out my life! I literally laughed out loud when I saw JD had captured this moment! She was being told not to lick the butter from her fingers yet. The results?...

And we are all (although none as much as the hubby) ecstatic to have returned to the land of the Round Rock Express minor league baseball team! Wahoo! for the weekend games on their soft grassy slope!

This morning Maria requested pancakes... And I thought I was going to be nominated for the coolest mom of the year award. A Mickey Mouse shaped pancake with a fruity smiley face?! Come on, does life get any better at age 3?! Apparently it does. She refused to have anything to do with it and demanded a circle pancake!! lol I mean, really, I had to laugh!
